BLOOMINGTON - Gary E. Steiner, 62, Chicago, formerly of Bloomington, died unexpectedly at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10, 2009, at his home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Oct. 31 at Highland City Cemetery, with the Rev. Christopher W. Hill officiating.

Memorial: to the University of Illinois Alumni Association Foundation. Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home, Highland, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors: a sister, Patricia J. Steiner, Romeoville; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
