HEYWORTH — Terry Woodburn, 68, of Heyworth, passed away Thursday (June 25, 2015) in Heyworth.

He was born Dec. 2, 1946, in Normal, to Arthur and Margaret Woodburn.

Terry and Kathy Nice married on April 4, 1970. He was the father to Chad (Michelle), Ty (Christy) and Jay (Stayce); grandfather to Lexi, Logan, Deanna, Ashlyn, Luke, Ava and Grayson.

He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Terry graduated from Illinois State University and taught at Wenona schools. He worked for the National American Legion in Indianapolis for many years and at the Illinois State American Legion as state adjutant, retiring December 2014.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mausoleum on the grounds of East Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1002 Airport Road, Bloomington. Full military rites will be performed at 8 p.m.

There will be a Mass for Terry at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 527 W. Jackson St., Bloomington.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund, American Legion National Headquarters, 700 N. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, IN 46206.
