BLOOMINGTON - Judith M. "Judi" Turner, 61, Bloomington, died Thursday evening (Dec. 11, 2008) at her home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, Bloomington. A committal service will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Pastor Kurt Flora will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded and ashes will be interred at a later date. Memorials may be made to McLean County Dialysis, 1505 Eastland Drive, Bloomington, IL 61701, in her memory.
Judi was born July 13, 1947, in Bloomington, a daughter of Fred Burton and Betty Henson Burton. She was a lifelong resident of Bloomington and was a member of the Women of the Moose and the Eagles Auxiliary.
Judi was an avid bingo and card player, enjoying any card game that anyone wanted to play. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and good friend to many. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Judi is survived by a daughter, Janice (Jon) Rankin, Bloomington; two brothers, Donald (Yvonne) Burton, Tuscon, Ariz., and Steve Burton, Bloomington; three grandchildren, Brant Turner, Brandi (Tony) Sheler and Brandon Turner, all of Bloomington; a great-grandchild, Brentyn Sheler, Bloomington; and her dear friend, Kathy Baker, Hudson.
Judi was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Aaron Burton; and a sister-in-law, Vicki Burton.

I new Judy since 9th. grade & her parent's. She was full of energy & love to sing. Playing card's ran in the family tree. She was a giving person & will be missed by all but alway's with her family & watching over them. Sincerely Lynda Caudell
