Larry J. Leininger

HUDSON - Larry J. Leininger, 51, of 305 Chestnut, Hudson, died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 3, 1999) at BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

He will be cremated. There will be no funeral or visitation. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association.

Mr. Leininger was born Nov. 3, 1947, at Bloomington, a son of Everett Stanley and Joyce Allene Maesky Leininger. He married Merriann Riddle on Nov. 12, 1967, in Normal. She survives.

Other survivors include his parents, Summerton, S.C.; two sons, Joseph Leininger, Durango, Colo.; and Douglas (Mindy) Leininger, McLean; one sister, Shirley Leininger, Ware Shoals, S.C.; and two brothers, Richard (Mary Beth) Leininger, Midland, Mich.; and Jim Leininger, Summerton, S.C.

Also surviving are two grandchildren, Amber and Brooke Leininger, McLean.

Mr. Leininger worked as an automotive body man. He was a member of the Hudson Christian Church, and a U.S. Navy veteran.
